Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, our Tingari-Silverton Foundation vision is for increased financial and social equity so that all peoples have the opportunity to build on their own strengths and resiliencies and improve their lives, regardless of geography, race, religion or politics. Through its grant making, the Foundation supports agencies and programs which advance economic and social inclusion, with particular emphasis on enabling those finding themselves in predicaments of disadvantage to attain the skills and resources that enable their own management out of their disadvantage. Through its activities, the Foundation strives to foster greater community awareness of and commitment to social enterprise. Congratulations to the Social Entrepreneur of 2013
